BIOGRAPHY

Bobby Sherman got his start as a singer on the 1964-1966 dance-party TV show, "Shindig," where he performed as a series regular. Bobby began appearing on the pages of the teen magazines in the mid '60s as a favorite "Shindigger." Guest spots on "Honey West" and "The Monkees" followed, though Bobby Sherman didn't become a houselold word until he landed the role of shy, stuttering lumberjack, Jeremy Bolt on "Here Come the Brides."

Bobby had several singles released on various labels in response to "Shindig,' but it wasnt until he grew his hair a little longer and recorded his first LP on Metromedia in 1969 that Bobby skyrocketed into the stratosphere with his million selling hit, "Little Woman."

Several other smash-hits roled out over the next couple of years including "La La La (If I Had You)," "Hey, Mr. Sun" and his most rememebred platinum platter, "Julie, Do Ya Love Me."

Bobby was a guest star on many variety shows of the day, toured on weekends, had his own TV special and his own series. "Getting Together,' which was launched as an episode of "The Partridge Family." As Bobby's time as an idol drew to a close, he slipped politely behind the scenes, writing scores for TV movies and acting occasionally, when a good part came along.

WHERE IS HE NOW?
Because Bobby was a little older and wiser when he hit the big-time, Bobby was able to invest well and provide for a comfortable future for himself and his two sons. Not only did Bobby own and operate successful charter airplane service, he also ran his own recording studio from his home.

Today and for the past decade, Bobby has achived great self-satisfaction as a volunteer EMT, and actively works as a emergency and CPR trainer for the Los Angeles Police Department. In 1998, Bobby joined up with the "Teen Idols Tour," performing for live audiences across the country for the first time since the '70s.
